Adur & Worthing Updates

Improving mental health services in West Sussex - UPDATE from West Sussex County Council (excerpt):

  • We wanted to take the opportunity to inform everyone who participated in our public consultation (on proposals to improve mental health services in West Sussex) about the current position. Unfortunately, in this unprecedented time of change and uncertainty because of the COVID-19 crisis, we have made the decision to put this work on hold for three months so that we can focus on safely delivering healthcare to the population.
  • The decision will be reviewed at the end of June and when the Covid-19 crisis eases, we will continue with relevant processes with the intention of implementing our plans, later in the year, subject to the proposals being approved. We will update you as soon as we can. Thank you again for taking part in the public consultation and for your understanding in these challenging times.
